Eralp is an undergraduate student from Turkey majoring in Cyber and Physical Systems Engineering, with a strong interest in engineering design. His work has taken him to the Turkish Patent Agency to secure patents for his medical robotics designs. A seasoned study abroad student with academic experiences in Germany and the United States, Eralp is deeply committed to supporting the international community.

As a representative of the International Student Council (ISC), he wants students to know that the council is actively advocating on their behalf. “We are living in confusing times, especially for international students,” Eralp shares, “but they should know that we are navigating similar experiences and are doing everything we can to help make UMD an inclusive and safe space for everyone.”
