Global Learning at Home

The Roshan Institute for Persian Studies Elahé Mir-Djalali Speaker Series invites you to a screening of Hamdardi (2023), a short film in which an immigration official struggles with his role in the system after meeting a young Iranian brother and sister detained during the travel ban.

Join us for an international movie screening at the Language House, hosted by students of the Russian Cluster. We will screen 'The Adventures of Captain Wrongel' at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, in 0107 St. Mary's Hall, the International Film Lounge.

Learn about cultural and linguistic traditions from around the world with students of the Language House! Visit booths featuring cultures speaking Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Persian, Russian, and Spanish and "travel around the world" right here on campus!
