Late Arrival & Deferral

Late Arrival & Deferral

We understand some students have issues entering the US by the start of classes. ISSS is here to support you along your process. If you are not able to enter the US on or before the start of classes, you have two options: late arrival or admission deferral. Whatever your plans for arrival, ISSS will need to know. Watch out for an email for your “Intent Form” 30 days before the start of classes. This form will help ISSS assist you on your immigration process and will help direct you through the late arrival process or with your deferral.

It is available both before and after the completion of your program of study. You must obtain Academic Training authorization BEFORE you begin working and before the end date of your current DS-2019.
