During 2023-2024 Maryland Global was Fearlessly Global in our pursuit of positive impact to help make the world a better place. Together, we learned, discovered, and co-created in service of the global common good and our collaborations with partners, stakeholders, and campus teams were key to the year’s successes.

Marketing functions from the global executive's viewpoint, including coverage of global marketing policies relating to product adaptation, data collection and analysis, channels of distribution, pricing, communications and cost analysis. Consideration is given to the cultural, legal, financial and organizational aspects of global marketing.

The opportunities for global learning at UMD are endless. Founded in 1994, the Boren Awards provide funding for students studying languages in regions critical to U.S. national security.
