International Education Week 2026

Celebrate at Maryland November 16–20

From Nov. 16–20, 2026, Maryland will celebrate International Education Week (IEW), a campus-wide showcase of our international diversity, global learning and collaboration, and cultural exchange. Explore our calendar of campus events below.

Use this IEW campus calendar form to include your or a campus partner’s event that aligns with international themes or celebrates Maryland’s global Terp community during that week. We welcome events of all sizes and formats!

How to Participate

  • Explore the calendar: Check back as we continue to add events.
  • Submit an event: Add it to the IEW calendar so our community learns about it and knows how to participate.
  • Amplify IEW: Include a calendar link in your newsletter, newsroom and stories.

The Global Crossroads atrium in H.J. Patterson Hall is available at no charge for IEW events. Email fyoung22@umd.edu to reserve the space.
