Welcome Home Workshop

2-4 p.m.

The Welcome Home Workshop invites students of all backgrounds to explore ideas related to home, belonging, and global mobility. Participants will engage in conversations with their peers about the following topics: what does home mean to them, what does it take to feel at home in a new place, and what does it mean to engage in community-building. There will also be a community map activity for attendees to pin their journeys. This will be a 2 hour event where students can drop in at any point, with no requirement to stay longer than they’d like. Hot chocolate will be provided!

Date: Thursday, November 21

Time: 2-4 p.m.

Location: McKeldin Library Steps (HJP 1102 as backup location in case of inclement weather)
