Sue Dougherty is the director of International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) at the University of Maryland, College Park. As director of ISSS she is responsible for immigration practice and policies. She leads the efforts in the office for the engagement of international students and scholars for the campus. With over 30 years of experience in the field of international education, she is an enthusiastic cross-cultural educator. Sue holds a M.A. in educational studies, with an emphasis on adult education and English as a second language from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
