Julia Xia

Julia joined Education Abroad in 2023 and serves as an advisor for the Maryland-in-Rome program, BSOS, LTSC, PLCY, and the Honors College. Prior to joining the University of Maryland, she was a student research assistant at the Institute of International Education and worked in student affairs at Georgetown and Trinity Washington University. Julia holds an M.P.S. in Higher Education Administration from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Government from Smith College. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Hamburg, Germany. In her free time, Julia loves to bake, hike and work on various arts/crafts projects.
