Joey Gulotta

New to the ISSS team Joey joined in March of 2026. He joins the team after three years at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee working with credential evaluation for international applicants to the Graduate School. Joey earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Communication.  As a pre-arrival advisor, he works with admitted students as they obtain their I-20s, F-1 and J-1 visas, and prepare to make the move to Maryland. After a summer intensive language program through Beloit College, Joey became increasingly interested in connecting with international students on campus. Since then he has traveled to Europe and Asia and his experiences learning with international students led him to explore careers in ISSS. New to the D.C. area Joey loves exploring the city and neighborhoods. In his free time he likes watching sports, anime, as well as biking.
