Christina joined the Education Abroad team in 2024 and supports the Education Abroad department as the finance coordinator. Christina manages billing, requisitions, vendor payments, and more so that students and staff can experience a seamless financial experience. Christina is a UMD alumna with an undergraduate degree in English Literature and minors in Creative Writing and Korean Studies. After graduating in 2015, she taught English in South Korea for a year. Upon returning to Maryland, she worked on her Masters in Teaching while working as an office manager within the private sector. After receiving her MAT through UMGC in 2019, she was a middle school English teacher for MCPS before returning back to UMD. Outside of the office, Christina enjoys going on hikes with her husband and GSD, binge-reading fantasy novels, and consuming everything matcha flavored.
