Catalina Moraga Prieto

Catalina joined the office of Global Learning Initiatives (GLI) in September of 2022. In her position, she supports GLI’s activities, including the implementation of events and programs that serve UMD’s departments, students and faculty. Catalina is from Chile, and before joining GLI, she worked as a research assistant at Millennium Nucleus: Student Experience in Higher Education in Chile. In her spare time, Catalina enjoys arts and crafts activities, hiking in Rock Creek Park, and reading. Catalina holds an M.A. in international education policy from the University of Maryland and two B.A. degrees in sociology and design from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
