Alexander Randle-Johnson
Alexander joined the Global Learning Initiatives (GLI) team through the Federal Work-Study program. He is a senior at the University of Maryland pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics. As an Undergraduate Assistant in the Office of International Affairs, he supports database development, performs administrative and data management tasks using Microsoft Office, and contributes to integrating global learning across campus. Alexander serves as Political Action Director for the University of Maryland College Democrats, where he organizes events, leads grassroots campaigns, and liaises with elected officials. He previously interned with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Legislative Affairs, gaining experience in policy and teamwork, and with Maryland Legal Aid, where he assisted attorneys with legal research and case preparation. Alexander plans to pursue a career in government, building on his experience in public service, policy, and political organizing.
