Aisha Ouattara
She/Her/Hers
Aisha Ouattara joined the Global Learning team as a Global Learning Advisor after spending the last 14 years in Ohio. Born and raised in Massachusetts to Congolese and Ivorian parents, she grew up in a multicultural, multilingual household and speaks French as her first language. Aisha earned her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a passion for TESOL from Cleveland State University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Miami University of Ohio.
Her path to global learning was shaped by her own international experiences, including studying abroad in Paris, France; Mandeville, Jamaica; and most recently participating in the CLS Program in Tanzania. These opportunities, combined with five years of working as a refugee case manager supporting newly arrived families, deepened her commitment to cross-cultural understanding and student empowerment.
Aisha is excited to bring these experiences into her role as a Global Learning Advisor, helping students explore transformative global opportunities and advocating for increased access to study abroad for all.
