Abigail Smith

Abigail Smith is a doctoral student in the International Education Policy Program. She joins the GLI team as a Graduate Assistant. Abigail is an international student from Jamaica. She has experience working at universities in the US and United Arab Emirates in student affairs, supporting the transition of students living in the residential halls. Abigail's research interests focus on the internationalization of higher education and efforts to regionalize universities in the Global South. In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling and playing tennis.  Abigail holds a B.A. in Sociology from Randolph College in Virginia and a M.A. in Higher Education Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut.
