Global Learning Initiatives (GLI) is excited to invite you to a presentation and conversation with Dr. Faerron Guzman, Associate Professor of Global Health at University of Maryland, Baltimore, on global education and research that disrupts current cycles of scholarly reproduction to advance a decolonial perspective. He follows a framework of equity in health and human rights as guiding principles and firmly believes in progress in health through community empowerment, action/research, and participatory education. Dr. Faerron Guzman is based in Costa Rica where he directs the Interamerican Center for Global Health along with various other community centered global health projects.
