NSA Critical Language Co-op Program Info Session
Join a discussion of internship applications for the NSA's co-op program for Russian and Chinese. The program takes applications twice a year: September 1 - October 31 and February 1 - March 31. 2nd semester freshman or sophomores who are currently majoring in Chinese or Russian are eligible to apply for this program. The co-op program consists of 52 weeks of alternating semesters of school and work at the agency. Some tuition assistance is provided and participants will be eligible for full time employment following successful completion of the program. Students planning to study abroad who may be interested in working for the government as well are encouraged to apply.
A Language Analyst at the National Security Agency who graduated from UMD with a major in Chinese will lead the session. During her time at Maryland, she lived in the Language House, spent her junior year abroad--and loves talking about language study, language careers, and opportunities at the Agency.
