If you’re finalizing your application, join us on March 4th for our last writing workshop. This session is designed to give you the final push to polish and perfect your essay just days before the submission deadline.

- Last-Minute Writing Space: A focused environment to complete and refine your Gilman Scholarship essay, with the deadline just around the corner.
- Collaborative Opportunities: Share your final ideas with other students and get input from experienced staff members.
- Detailed Feedback: Take advantage of feedback from the National Scholarships Office to ensure your essay is ready to submit. This will satisfy the Gilman Guarantee requirement to work with the UMD National Scholarships Office (NSO) to have your Gilman application essays reviewed by Thursday, October 2nd.
- Supportive Setting: Enjoy ambient music, cookies, and coffee to keep you relaxed and productive during this critical time.
